In 2024, Chris Williams and Rob Ambrose, two experienced snake catchers, took over the running of Sydney Snake Catcher. Under their leadership, the business has expanded its network of professional reptile handlers, allowing it to assist in the removal of snakes and lizards across most regions of New South Wales.

Established in 2010, Sydney Snake Catcher is the original and longest-running professional snake removal service in the Greater Sydney region. We cover Sydney, the Illawarra, the Blue Mountains, and other high-snake-population areas across NSW. We work closely with a large network of skilled catchers, including volunteers and professionals from Taronga Zoo, the Australian Reptile Park, WIRES, and Sydney Wildlife, ensuring the safe, ethical, and efficient removal of unwanted reptiles from homes and businesses.

Our mission is to:

• Protect native wildlife as urban development encroaches on natural habitats.
• Educate the public on how to safely coexist with reptiles.
• Maintain a paperless, carbon-neutral business and support environmental sustainability.
• Ensure the humane, ethical, and safe removal of reptiles from residential and commercial properties.
